The extraction material for 30% synephrine from Citrus aurantium extract originates from the dried young fruits of Citrus aurantium and its cultivated varieties, as well as sweet oranges—both belonging to the Rutaceae family. These plants are predominantly found in regions such as Sichuan, Jiangxi, and Zhejiang. The young fruits are harvested annually from May to June and processed through methods including sun-drying, cross-cutting and then sun-drying, or low-temperature drying, to produce the extraction material.
